LYNX Launches New Route Connecting Disney Springs to Orlando International Airport

LYNX has launched a new route connecting Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Disney Springs.

Link 311 replaces Link 111. It runs from MCO’s Terminal A to Disney Springs with stops at the Sand Lake Road SunRail Station, Florida Mall Superstop, Universal Boulevard, International Drive, and Destination Parkway Superstop.

The route has a $2 fare and takes about one hour one way. It runs every 30 minutes in both directions from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. 7 days a week.

LYNX will spend $3.5 million on the new route, paid for by Orange County taxpayers through the Accelerated Transportation Safety Program.

LYNX spokesperson Matt Friendman told Click Orlando that Link 311 is a “great route for anyone wanting to have an express type route from OIA to Disney Springs.”

Walt Disney World recently stated they would be open to a SunRail train station at Disney Springs. Brightline proposed a station in 2019 but plans changed and the station was canceled in 2022.
