Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is Disney’s new island destination opening this summer, and we can’t wait to get a chance to visit it for ourselves. However, we have gotten a sneak peek at what we can expect to experience on the island, and WOW, we’re excited for these drinks!

Just like Disney’s existing destination, Castaway Cay, there are some dining spots on the island where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cocktail if you’re looking to relax. We got a chance to try some of the drinks that will likely be featured on the island, and, of course, we are here to bring you a full review.

Smooth, rich caffeinated beverages and island getaways go together PERFECTLY, don’t you think? Who doesn’t love a little coffee indulgence on vacation? Well, that’s exactly what this Lighthouse Point Specialty Coffee brings to the table. It features Monin Hawaiian Island Illy Cold Brew, Monin Coconut Syrup, and Rich’s On Top soft Whip Topping. And if you were wondering, Rich’s On Top is GOOD (EXPENSIVE) stuff.

Lighthouse Point Specialty Coffee

This is a nice, light-roasted coffee with a big layer of whipped topping. The Monin Hawaiian Island Illy Cold Brew and Monin Coconut Syrup bring a distinctive flavor with a somewhat fruity undertone to create that sweetness. This drink was complex and interesting — especially for a coffee beverage. Note that the coconut syrup is pretty strong, so be prepared for a heavy flavor. Overall, this was a sweet, rich drink that we enjoyed!

YUM!

We also got to try the non-alcoholic Lighthouse Point Specialty Beverage! This one is essentially just a fun little lemonade drink with a hint of tea (like an Arnold Palmer). There’s a shiny blue topping on this drink, which was added to reflect the sparkling water on the island. If you like iced tea lemonade drinks, you will probably love this little beverage!

Time for a cocktail! Meet the Eleuthera Euphoria — made with aged rum with pineapple and Dole Whip, topped with a pineapple gummy. Yep, that’s right. This one has DOLE WHIP! If you’re wondering how it tastes, it reminded us of a pineapple-y pina colada. Tropical, cool, and perfect for a day at the beach! We’ll be daydreaming about this one for a WHILE. Why can’t ALL drinks have Dole Whip — right?!

Disney also confirmed that Lookout Cay will serve ice cream and chicken tenders on the island. Look out for returning Castaway Cay favorites, plus some Bahamian-inspired offerings (with some special spices, too!). Lookout Cay is set to open in Summer 2024 for select sailings, so get ready for tons of port adventures, character encounters, and chances to relax in the Bahamian sun.

As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!
