Disneyland Paris has been fined €400,000 over required reservations for Annual Passholders. Park reservation systems were imposed at several Disney Parks amid the COVID-19 pandemic and remain in place.

The fine comes from the Department Directorate of Population Prevention (DDPP) of Seine-et-Marne, part of the General Directorate of Competition, Consumption & Repression of Frauds (DGCCRF).

DDPP cites inadequate communication from Disneyland Paris regarding restricted access to the parks for Passholders. DDPP states Disneyland Paris broke provisions of the Consumer Code concerning deceptive business practices.

Disneyland Resort in California faced similar issues with a lawsuit regarding park passes for Magic Key holders. The suit was finalized earlier this year and Disney agreed to pay over 100,000 Dream Key holders $67.41 each.
