Disney World Steakhouse Named One of Florida’s Most LEGENDARY Restaurants

As the Disney Food Blog, it should come as no surprise that we take great interest in the dining options in and around Disney World. So when a Disney World restaurant is recognized by a major food magazine, you know we’ll be covering it!

Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Some of the best dining options at Disney World aren’t found at the parks, but instead at the hotels. Such is the case with the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. The first Waldorf Astoria to open outside of New York, this Disney World resort is home to a steakhouse that was just recognized as one of Florida’s BEST.

Bull & Bear Restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando has earned accolades and recognition nationally, and now it can add another accolade to its accomplishments — one of the most legendary restaurants in Florida.

Bull & Bear

Recently, lifestyle magazine Southern Living named Bull & Bear one of Florida’s 17 Most Legendary Restaurants. Lauded for its intimate setting and lavished decor, Southern Living was also impressed by a menu that serves “innovative dishes that are unique to the Orlando location, and so fabled they’re known simply by a mononym: ‘the Lemon,’ a dessert that’s as delicious as it is deceptive. Tableside theatre using facilities like liquid nitrogen, gold leaf, and smoke infusion make for an evening that will go down as a family legend.”

Bull & Bear Short Rib Wellington

Bull & Bear was one of two Orlando restaurants selected by Southern Living — the other being Lee & Rick’s Oyster Bar.

La Fraise

Bull & Bear has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in the United States by Open Table and serves steakhouse classics and other fare such as fried chicken, Pasta Explosion, and a Chateaubriand For Two. The restaurant also boasts high levels of personalized service, elite tableside preparation, a team of experienced sommeliers, exquisite views, and much more.

Bull & Bear

Last December, we visited the restaurant to try the $300(!!!) Bull and Bear Carving Board, which comes with Tomahawk Steak, Fried Chicken, Maine Lobster Tail, and a Choice of Two Sides. Surprisingly, we felt the price was worth it and, overall, the meal quality and passionate staff justified the hype around this acclaimed restaurant.
