Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith has reopened one day early at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Reopens

Visitors at Walt Disney World are greeted by the giant guitar sculpture and "Rock 'n' Roller Coaster" signage of an exhilarating attraction. Palm trees sway under a clear blue sky, making it a picture-perfect moment for any official calendar.

Today, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith reopened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This is one day earlier than the expected July 1 that we announced on June 28. The July 1 reopening date was a change from the original July 27 reopening that was announced in May.

This is the first time that guests have been able to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster since it closed for a scheduled refurbishment on January 8. Despite guests boarding the attraction, Disney has yet to make an official announcement about the reopening, and a wait time is not listed in the My Disney Experience app. The list of attractions still shows the ride as “Closed for Refurbishment.”
