McDonald’s Reveals 12 Universal Studios Happy Meal Toys for Japan

McDonald’s has revealed the 12 Universal Studios-themed Happy Set toys that will be available in Japan starting July 12. Happy Set is the Japanese name for a Happy Meal.

McDonald’s and Universal Studios Japan are collaborating to bring 12 different toys inspired by popular characters from Universal Studios Japan to Happy Meals. The “Universal Studios Japan All Stars” Happy Meal will go on sale on Friday, July 12, 2024. There will be three installments.

Toys released during the first installment will be themed after attractions in “Super Nintendo World“. These toys include fan-favorite characters such as Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong. The Donkey Kong minecart is inspired by “Donkey Kong Country” which is scheduled to open in 2024. These toys will be available from Friday, July 12 through Thursday, July 18.

In the second release period, toys featuring popular content from “Minions”, “Curious George”, “Jaws”, and “Jurassic Park” will be available. These items include multiple “Minions” toys, a “Jaws” water gun, a Curious George bubblemaker, and a T-Rex toy. These toys will be available from Friday, July 19 through Thursday, July 25.

A third release will begin on Friday, July 26 and feature all 12 toys from the first and second releases. An end date for this third installment has not been released. Each item will only be available until supplies run out.
