Disney World has been canceling hotel, dining reservations, the Disney Dining Plan, AND FastPasses in preparation for the theme parks reopening in July.
While Disneyland is projected to open in July and Shanghai Disneyland is already open again, many other theme parks and resorts around the world don’t have a timeline just yet for reopening. Despite the uncertainty of when Disney Parks and Resorts will welcome guests again, Disney has announced that the Walt Disney Travel Company will not be offering air transportation packages starting in 2021.
The airline packages for Disney World, Disneyland, and Aulani, including consumer-direct and third-party bookings, will not be offered for arrivals beginning in 2021. However, Disney will honor existing airline reservations and allow guests to make new airline bookings through the rest of 2020.
If you have plans to travel to Disney World next year, we suggest talking to your travel agent for more information about the halt in Disney’s air transportation packages. We will continue to keep you updated with more information and details!
