Disney World will officially start reopening its theme parks on July 11th. Disney has already shared that a few experiences like parades and fireworks would be suspended when the parks reopen.
This left us questioning how Disney World would handle special ticketed events that offer special entertainment offerings. Would they still happen? How would Disney modify the experience? Now, Disney has officially released information pertaining to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which was set to take place on select nights from August 13 – November 1, 2020, has officially been canceled.
According to Disney, “we determined that many of its hallmarks – stage shows, parades and fireworks – are unable to take place in this new, unprecedented environment. With that in mind, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.”
