Today is June 26th, and that means it’s time to celebrate the adorable troublemaker, Experiment 626 — Stitch!
Since “626 Day” is an unofficial holiday among Disney fans, we’ve seen specialty treats like the Experiment 626 Cone and the 626 Specialty Cake pop up in Disney World to mark the occasion in previous years.
And this year, Captain Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort came through with a Stitch snack to celebrate the holiday! We snagged this adorable Stitch Cupcake that features our favorite blue alien!
This sweet treat is a vanilla cupcake topped with buttercream and toasted coconut!
We love the way the blue buttercream icing makes it look like Stitch is catching a wave on a “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride!”
And it wasn’t just cute — we enjoyed the flavor too! The vanilla cake was good, although nothing new, and we liked the addition of the toasted coconut!
The 626 Day treats tend to be limited-time only releases, so this little cutie might not stick around after today. But if you’re staying at Polynesian Villiage Resort and have the chance to swing by Captain Cook’s, you can snag a Stitch Cupcake while supplies last!
Check out this fun Stitch phone case we spotted in Disney World!
