Disney has dropped a TON of news over the last few days.

And while many things in the parks are changing and remaining closed for the time being, Disney has officially confirmed that Spaceship Earth will remain open for the time being. 

We previously shared that Orlando Sentinel had confirmed that Spaceship Earth would be reopening with EPCOT on July 15th. But now, Disney has confirmed it as well. The attraction was supposed to go under an extensive refurbishment on May 26, 2020. But plans have now changed.

According to Disney, “the iconic Spaceship Earth attraction at EPCOT will also continue to be available in its current state while we pause on its planned refurbishment.” So, for now, it looks like Disney is still planning to move forward with the refurbishment, it has just been halted.
