Disney World Asking Guests To Change, Confirm, or Cancel Reservations With Departure Dates On or Before July 11th

With the Disney parks reopening on July 11th, a lot of guests are looking to solidify their plans.

Disney World

Select Disney Vacation Club Villas and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are set to reopen on June 22nd. For those Disney guests with reservations between the reopening of resorts and the reopening of the parks, there are a lot of questions. Now, Disney is reaching out to guests to help in modifying, canceling, or CONFIRMING reservations — even for those booked at closed resorts.

Disney will be reaching out to guests with resort hotel reservations with DEPARTURE dates June 11th or earlier. These guests will be asked to confirm, modify, or cancel their reservations with a response requested by July 25th.

Those who are wishing to confirm and who are booked at a hotel that is NOT opening will be moved to an open resort at no additional cost, but they CAN’T choose where they will stay. Guests wishing to modify to a date on or after the parks open on July 11th may only move their booking to one of the announced open resorts and they WILL be responsible for the difference in price.

Disney has suspended new hotel reservations and ticket sales to accommodate guests who already have reservations. This new round of communications is another step to attempt to assist guests who were impacted by the closure.
