Just the other day we were chatting about the newest cupcake flavors at Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC in Disney Springs.

And today we were looking forward to checking out anything else that might be new at this beloved bakery that features vegan and allergy-friendly baked goodies. So, it was with some surprise when we arrived at the location to find it CLOSED!
Fortunately, though, a hand-written sign has been posted to notify guests as to why Erin McKenna’s is closed for the time being.

The spot is having some work done on the air-conditioning, according to the note. As the summer temps are really in full swing here in Orlando, we can certainly understand the necessity of the repairs, and can accept that it will just be a little while before we can come back for one of those awesome Cookie Monster Cupcakes…

So, don’t you worry… though there wasn’t an indication as to how long the repairs will take, Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC will be back… and so will we! We’ll continue to keep you posted on all the latest here in The Landing of Disney Springs and the rest of Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district during today’s trip!
