Although Disneyland has postponed its re-opening, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t still pixie dust to be sprinkled over the parks!
While Downtown Disney still plans to open again on July 9th, over at Disneyland Resort, construction has resumed on a few projects!
The OC Register has reported that the Frontierland Gate in Disneyland has started construction again! The new entrance into the land will replace the previous “15-foot-tall faux wooden gates and the 16-foot-long marquee” that currently stands in the area.
Nearby, the bridge will also be widened so there is better traffic flow for guests to make their way towards their favorite attractions. While the construction was previously halted in the parks, now that Disneyland has started to make plans for re-opening, projects everywhere are getting picked back up again.
At this time, Disneyland will still be moving forward with construction on spots like Avengers Campus, while pausing work on projects like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway for the time being. We’ll keep you updated on all the other projects happening around Disneyland when we have more details!
