The Disney Resorts have started to re-open around the Disney World property, and we’ve been taking you with us to check them all out.

While we’ve already given you a look at dining at the Grand Floridian Cafe, today we noticed some new construction at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
Our friend @brbgoingtodisney spotted a construction fence going up through the middle of the resort today.

As construction on Cinderella Castle also progresses (in all of its pinkness), construction workers are building the new Grand Floridian Walkway. However, the fence that we saw today is located through the middle of the resort.

With the NBA teams set to arrive next month in Disney World, we know that some of the teams will be staying at the Grand Floridian. If the teams are staying during the same time as other guests, the fence could act as a potential temporary measure to distance the NBA players and officials from other guests until the NBA’s season finishes in Disney World.

While Disney has not released any details on this new bit of construction, we will continue to keep you updated as we learn more!
