Are you ready for some classic confections like Mickey Krispy Treats, Cotton Candy, Caramel Apples, and more?
Then we’ve got just the place for ya… because as of today, Goofy’s Candy Company is now reopen to guests in the Disney Springs Marketplace!
The bright and familiar primary colors — along with Goofy’s lovable mug — welcome you back, and it’s a cheerful sight!
Of course, there are some changes in place to promote safety, which you’ll notice right away with distancing markers placed outside the storefront where guests can wait to be invited in if the store has reached capacity inside.
We were informed that the store has a virtual queue system in place if needed, but it wasn’t used during our visit.
Inside, you’ll spot similar signage in front of the bakery cases for safe distancing between guests.
You’ll also spot PLENTY of Disney snacking GOODIES once you look inside the cases!
Fudge, Cookies, Mickey Krispy Treats and Caramel Apples are joined by Cupcakes – including the adorable GOOFY Cupcake — all available in a wide variety of flavors. (We were informed that nothing is made in-house at the moment, with treats being delivered every day.)
Now, something that Goofy’s Candy Company is rather famous for are Create-Your-Own Snacks, which give guests the opportunity to customize treats like Marshamallow Wands, Krispy Treats, and more with various toppings and candy drizzles.
At the moment, though, this signature Create-Your-Own offering is unavailable to guests. There are obviously LOTS of other treats in store, though, so don’t you fret!
Cold, fruity, and refreshing Goofy’s Glaciers are still available for sipping, albeit in a limited assortment of flavors.
These included BRRR-Banana and Gwarshly Berry Blue during our visit. (Just a heads-up, though, that when we checked with a Cast Member, alcohol was not available — at least as of this morning — to make those Boozy Goofy’s Glaciers that hit the scene last summer. But we’ll be back soon and will definitely be keeping an eye out!)
Bulk Candy is also currently up for grabs.
And so is pre-packed candy, bags of good ol’ Cotton Candy, and more.
We even spied the Walker Shortbread Double Decker Character Bus Tins full of Walker Shortbread Cookies!
Do you remember these from when we first spotted them in Epcot? It’s like seeing old friends.
Just like this one…
GWARSH, it’s good to see you, Goofy! And we hope to be seeing all of YOU right back here soon as we continue to explore even more spots that are newly reopen in Disney Springs!
