We’re just a few short weeks away from Disney World’s grand re-opening to guests!
The Disney Park Pass Reservation System has gone live, and the Disney Resorts have started to open across the Disney property. We have lists of attractions that will be reopening as well as restaurants ready to welcome everyone back to the parks, there’s still a lot to consider about how your Disney World vacation is going to change.
In response to some of these changes, the TUI travel agency, which is Europe’s most prominent travel and tourism company, will be canceling all U.K. vacations to Florida until December, according to Yahoo! Finance. TUI has made this decision after reviewing Disney World’s new health and safety protocols, like the use of face coverings, temperature screenings, and limited capacity.
The company has stated that these health and safety guidelines would “significantly impact the holiday experience” for guests traveling from the UK. TUI is allowing its customers to delay their Florida vacations until next year, change their destinations entirely, or get a full refund.
TUI has stated that it “commits to only operating holidays where it’s able to guarantee an enjoyable, relaxing and safe holiday without significant changes at their destination.” However, the company will still be hosting vacation packages to eight destination from Spain to Greece starting July 11th, if travel restrictions allow them to do so.
At this time, the government has encouraged travelers to only take essential trips. However, there may be changes coming soon to the travel industry as regulations are changes as early as next week in the U.K. As Disney World pushes forward with its July 11th and July 15th re-opening dates, we’ll keep you updated on everything new happening in the parks!
Here are all the stores, attractions, and entertainment that will be re-opening in Disney World soon!
