It’s always fun when packages are delivered to my front porch and it seems that for the past 3 months or so, they’ve been coming pretty steadily. Ahem. Here’s the thing, though, they’re not usually for me.

I am not typically the one in my house, believe it or not, who orders online the most. That title would have to go to my son with my husband running a very close second behind.

Their Contemporary scent is my most favorite, but during a recent conversation I was having with my son, he happened to mention that he loves the Polynesian smell which I had no idea. So, I had to try it just for fun to see if he’d recognize it. I lit the candle last night and shortly thereafter, the combined tropical scent of fresh green tea mixed with effervescent citrus and crisp bamboo stalks filled my house. When he walked through the door after work, he recognized the smell immediately and the smile across his face was simply priceless.

I love having the ability to bring the scents of some of my family’s favorite places straight to my home. My house is one story so the candles work their magic when I light them and place them on my fireplace mantle which is practically right in the center of our house.

I decided to give some hand sanitizers a try this month as well since I still can’t seem to purchase any new ones at any of my local retailers. I may as well enjoy my favorite vacation scents as I’m keeping my hands sanitized, right?
