There is a lot to keep track of when it comes to the latest info for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders right now.
For instance, Annual Passholders who have paid in full are — as of yesterday — just starting to see their passes extended for the number of days that the theme parks remain closed reflected in their My Disney Experience account. And today we’d like to pass on a reminder — along with some handy info — to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders on the Monthly Payment Plan.
Now, as a reminder, Passholders who utilize the Annual Pass Monthly Payment Program have had their payments waived during the closure (with regular payments set to resume when the parks reopen). Pass expiration dates will not be extended in this automated process.
However, Disney provided an alternative option for Passholders on the Monthly Payment Plan, whereby Passholders can postpone their monthly payments through the closure with payments resuming when the parks reopen, opting for their Annual Pass to be extended for the number of days the parks are closed.
This option to extend is NOT automatic. As a reminder, if you wish to see your pass extended on the Monthly Payment Plan you MUST call Disney. And speaking of calling… we have an additional number you can contact.
Here’s a tip! While Disney has stated that Passholders who wish to extend their pass may call V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407)939-7277, there is a dedicated line for the Monthly Payment Plan participants: (888) 701-4100.
We called the dedicated line today and found that we were not transferred — they were able to help with a Monthly Payment Pass extension directly on this line! It is worth mentioning, though, that we were on hold for a long time (nearly an hour). However, Disney has expressed that heavy call volume from Passholders and guests is anticipated, and states that patience is appreciated.
