Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney Springs!
And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise, food, and construction updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Disney Springs Merchandise Update
World of Disney
While you’re walking around the parks, sometimes it’s helpful to have your own reusable straws handy to sip your soda from! And, we are LOVING the really fun Summer Reusable Straws at the World of Disney to match all sorts of their vibrant merchandise.
The Summer Reusable Straw pack features a pattern that showcases Mickey in some stylish sunglasses, fresh fruit, some of our favorite Disney snacks (we just can’t get enough Dole Whip), and other adorable designs on each straw. The pack comes with 12 straws for $9.99!
It’s Pride Month, folks! And, Disney is celebrating with all kinds of rainbow merchandise around World of Disney. Our new favorite way to sip on coffee in the morning is definitely about to become the Rainbow Mug we spotted! The front features Disney Parks logos, Minnie bows, Mickey pretzels, and more iconic goodies…
…while the back shows off that Disney is “My Happy Place” for so many fans. Plus, that rainbow handle is a reason enough to pick up the Rainbow Mug!
Take a look at all the details on the Rainbow Mug here!
We’ve been LOVING all the new Disney Character kitchenware at World of Disney (who wouldn’t want matching Beauty and the Beast aprons?). And, you can mix up Mickey Waffles or bake your own cake with the Donald and Goofy Spatula Set! The fronts of the spatulas have Donald and Goofy’s iconic outfits…
…and the backs have Donald’s iconic yellow and blue colors and Goofy’s green and orange color scheme! Gawrsh, we can’t wait to make lots of Disney Recipes using these guys!
Check out the Goofy and Donald Spatula Set here!
Marketplace Co-Op
The Disney Character Face Masks have been selling out left and right! While we’ve already seen the Marie and Mickey Pattern Masks sell out in a size large, now the Minnie Pattern Mask has also sold out in the same size.
Find out how you can get the Disney Character Face Masks in Disney Springs here!
Something wicked this way comes! The Maleficent Dress has finally arrived at The Dress Shop in the Marketplace Co-Op!
The dark purple dress shows off Maleficent looking pretty mad she wasn’t invited to Aurora’s party, with her villainous green flames, and thorn branches everywhere…
…and even Diablo the Raven flying around the back of the dress! Anybody else have hot-and-cold running chills?
Take a look at the Maleficent Dress, if you DARE!
Days of Christmas
We’re heading back on the adventure of a lifetime on the Jungle Cruise soon in Magic Kingdom! If you’re missing the ride just as much as we are, you can take home the Jungle Cruise Ornament Set ahead of the parks’ re-opening!
The set features the Jungle Cruise logo…
…the elephant spraying water at guests…
…and adventurers climbing up a pole to get away from any wild animals!
Check out the Jungle Cruise Ornaments here!
Disney Springs Food Update
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Before Jock Lindsey’s closed (we’ll get back to that in just a second), we stopped by to sip on the classic Bitter Barkeep at the restaurant.
The egg white cocktail is mixed up with Barsol Quebranta Pisco, Simple Syrup, Fresh Lime Juice, and Pasteurized Egg Whites (and it honestly tastes like Christmas in the summertime!).
Disney Springs Bars
We encountered some bar craziness while we were at Disney Springs this week! Florida has put in place an alcohol ban that has closed multiple bars in the shopping and dining district. The order states that bars that make 50% of their profits from alcohol have been forced to close as a distancing measure (since people tend to stick around to sip on their drinks).
Guests who were at Jock’s during this announcement were allowed to finish their drinks before the restaurant closed barely 24 hours after it re-opened. Other spots like Dockside Margaritas…
…and a couple of the pop-up bars throughout Disney Springs also closed as a part of Florida’s new regulation! While several of the pop-up bars had re-opened today, we’ll keep you updated on the status of spots like Dockside Margaritas and Jock Lindsey’s!
Read all about Florida’s new alcohol ban here!
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC
A few days ago, Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC closed due to an issue with the air-conditioning in the store. However, the bakery is back open again for guests to pick up their favorite treats!
Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill
Many bars within restaurants are still able to remain open since they count for less than 50% of the location’s profits. And, you can still enjoy a drink or two during Social Hour at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill! The Social Hour menu features cocktails, wine, beer, and bites on Wednesday through Sunday from 2PM until 5PM at the bar and patio!
Disney Springs Construction Update
Splitsville and Pop Gallery
While we’ve been keeping an eye on the Splitsville construction wall, we happened to notice an update during our last visit!
The Pop Gallery has put up a sign that the location has temporarily closed until July 3rd. So, we hope to see that the construction will be wrapped up by then when Pop re-opens again!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Disney Springs! We’ll catch you next time for more merchandise, food, and construction updates!
