We’ve been really anticipating the release of Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan this year.
Initially, Mulan was supposed to premiere on March 27th. However, due to the global health crisis, the film has seen a series of delays to the release date. Now, Disney has delayed the film once more — and this time, they haven’t set a new date.
Last month, Disney pushed Mulan‘s theatrical release to August 21st. According to CNBC, Disney has made changes to its release calendar. Mulan has been listed with an “unset” release date. At this time, this blockbuster is delayed indefinitely.
The company explained that these further delays have been instituted as a result of theater closures and production shutdowns during the global health crisis.
We will be sure to keep an eye out for any updates on the Mulan film. One day we will get to watch one of our favorite princesses save all of China, but it seems like it might be a little farther off than we’d anticipated.
