Walt Disney World has undergone a lot of changes since re-opening. We’ve seen limited menus, increased sanitation procedures, and many changes to experiences like rides and attractions.
One of the most surprising changes was the cancelation of the Disney Dining Plan. Many guests rely on the dining plan to budget for their vacations. We were curious to see what the process would be like for guests who use the Tables in Wonderland dining discount card. Would Cast Members honor the discount for those of us whose cards expired during the closure?
Our Tables in Wonderland membership expired on June 3oth, just before the parks re-opened. We headed to Tiffins in Animal Kingdom to see if Cast Members would still honor our discount and what the process would be like if they didn’t.
Our Server told us that Disney is honoring cards that expired during the closure. Disney hasn’t completely ironed all the details out so we’re still unsure as to when they will stop honoring the expired cards. She informed us that there wasn’t a need for us to renew our card at the moment. This is likely to change, like many of the updates happening at Disney World.
As it stands now, you can use your expired Tables in Wonderland discount card until told otherwise! Just brace for the day that you’re told you actually DO have to renew! This is a great way to receive dining discounts for Annual Passholders, DVC members, and Florida Residents. We’ll be sure to update you when we receive more info about the dining plan and Tables in Wonderland!
