Disney World is officially reopened with new health measures, limited capacities, and mandatory theme park reservations.
As you may have noticed, when the Disney Park Pass reservation system launched, Annual Passholder availability went pretty quickly. Since then, the pickings have been slim for any Annual Passholder who wants to visit in the next month or so. A few days ago, Disney announced that they would be increasing availability for Annual Passholders and now that availability is here!
Just a few days ago, there was NO availability for Passholders in July — that means no chance of getting into ANY park on ANY day. August had some options still, but days (especially weekends) were going quick.
Now, the added availability is live! As you can see, Disney added availability every day of July for all of the parks except for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Studios has been an extremely high-demand option with the relatively recent openings of Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
August has more options too! If you want to head to Hollywood Studios, you’ll have to wait for the end of August, but otherwise, parks are available again! Keep in mind that the added availability does not reflect any change in capacity numbers.
And there ya have it! This should hopefully give Annual Passes more of an opportunity to get into the parks. Keep an eye on DFB for more updates about the Disney Park Pass and Disney World’s reopening!
