We’ve gotten A LOT of news about Halloween this week in theme parks!
While Disney World already confirmed that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled, Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash and Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights will also be suspended this year. Even though we’ll totally miss heading to our favorite frightful events, we have some AWESOME Halloween news to give you hot and cold running chills.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney+ has a new Halloween movie in production called Spooked (and we’re SO here for more ghouls and ghosts).
The film will be a supernatural comedy rewritten and directed by Irish filmmaker Peter Foott, along with Dan Lin and Jonatan Eirich to produce and Mark Bauch to executive produce. The film was originally written by Tyler Burton Smith, but things have been switched up now that Spooked is on Disney+.
The movie will be about “a Halloween night gone awry as trick or treaters are transformed into whatever costume they are wearing.” Anybody else getting some major Halloween 3 vibes??
We can’t wait for more Halloween content to come to the streaming service! Who wants to join with us on a watch party?
