Now that the Disney World theme parks have reopened, Disney is making changes to help mitigate the effects of the closures.
Though the Disney Dining Plan is currently unavailable, we’ve been looking into how the Tables in Wonderland dining discount membership is handled in a reopened Disney World — especially for the many whose membership expired during the closure. We knew that Disney intended to extend Tables in Wonderland due to the closures, and now we know what we can expect of that extension!
According to an update on the Disney World Tables in Wonderland page, existing memberships that were affected by the closure of Disney World “will be extended an additional 4 months beyond the printed date of expiration,” so that members get the opportunity to use their full year of membership.
Keep in mind, this extension will not apply to any memberships that expired prior to March of 2020. When we last spoke with a Cast Member we learned that new Tables in Wonderland memberships are not available at this time.
Stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest updates about the Tables in Wonderland membership!
