The global health crisis has brought around several delays for our favorite films.
Just yesterday we found out about the delay of the reopening of AMC theaters and of new films such as Mulan and Star Wars, and Avatar movies. Now, a BIG upcoming Marvel sequel has been delayed.
According to Variety, Sony has announced that the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home has been delayed by one month. Initially, the film was set to be released on November 5th, 2021, and has been bumped to December 17th, 2021.
This delay comes as a result of the rest of the Disney slate shaking up. Now, the new Spider-Man will fill the original slot of Avatar 2 which has been pushed to the following year in 2022. As a note, Sony explained that this shake-up only applies to the domestic release; the international release is still in question.
