Disney World is seeing a lot of changes in the parks before reopening with the ever-changing protocols and guidelines taking place in Florida.
Different locations in Disney Springs have recently been affected by Florida’s alcohol ban, where restaurants who make 50% of their profits from the sale of alcohol were forced to close. However, the Florida order has been updated with a new amendment that changes the details of the ban. Instead, restaurants who sell both food and alcohol are able to operate with a limited capacity of 50% and distancing measures.
Since the Florida order has now updated its guidelines, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has officially reopened in Disney Springs!
The restaurant originally reopened in Disney Springs for a little over 24 hours before it was forced to close again due to the new alcohol ban. Since Jock Lindsey’s is licensed to sell food and alcohol, the restaurant is able to operate under health and safety guidelines for guests and Cast Members.
While other spots like Dockside Margaritas closed as well from the ban, there haven’t been any new details about what other places would be reopening. However, we will keep you updated with any more news on how the new amendment affects more Disney restaurants!
