One of our favorite new additions to the Disney World dining experience in the past few years has been Mobile Order. And during the phased reopening of the theme parks, this contactless way of ordering your food is becoming an essential part of a Disney World vacation. Disney is really pushing guests to order at quick-service dining locations through Mobile Order whenever possible.
Many locations like Pecos Bill was requiring guests to stand outside until their order Mobile Order was ready. Recently Pecos Bill debuted a new indoor waiting area for those that used Mobile Order.
We ordered our food via My Disney Experience and approached the entrance to Pecos Bill.
If you show your confirmed Mobile Order to a Cast Member at the door, they will let you inside where you are asked to wait on a socially distanced floor dot.
Despite the indoor waiting area available for guests to use, we noticed that most diners were still opting to wait outdoors until their order was ready.
And then our food was ready after a short wait! You approach your designated window and off you go with a yummy lunch!
We were told by a Cast Member that these indoor waiting areas may not be in place all day long, especially during peak dining hours. So, if you want the option to wait inside, your best bet may be to go during those off-hours!
