Disney’s Hollywood Studios officially reopened last week, and we’ve been checking it out to see what it’s like to spend a day in the park!
We’ve noticed that so far, the wait times for attractions in Hollywood Studios have tended to be the longest of the four parks. And with Rise of the Resistance using a virtual queue, we’ve found that Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway has regularly had the longest line in the park. So, if you’re going to be spending a decent amount of time in the queue, you might as well know what you’re in for along the way!
We spotted a Cast Member holding a sign outside of the attraction to help direct guests to the start of the queue!
And since social distancing can make the queues look a bit confusing, there was another Cast Member holding a sign at the end of the line!
As with other queues throughout the parks, there are social distancing markers throughout the line to show guests the proper space between parties.
There is space left between the line switchbacks to ensure guests can maintain distance, and there are umbrellas throughout the outside portion of the queue for shade!
Let’s head inside to take a look at the rest of the queue!
There are social distancing markers throughout the indoor portion of the queue as well.
There’s also space left between potential line switchbacks throughout the indoor portion of the queue.
In some places where a close switchback is unavoidable, there’s yellow and black tape to show guests not to stand close to the railing.
At this point in the line, each party is directed to a number on which to stand.
There are plexiglass dividers in the loading area!
There is hand sanitizer available to guests right before they get on the attraction — it’s visible in the far right of the photo below!
All aboard!
Based on the wait times we’ve seen since the park reopening, there will probably be a line for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway if you head to Hollywood Studios in the near future. If that’s the case, now you know what to expect during your time in the queue!
From merchandise to food, check out what’s new in EPCOT!
