We’ve been running around EPCOT with a friend for Cast Member previews and noticed a few colorful touches since we last visited!
Disney announced that EPCOT will get a new look and new attractions to enhance the park’s transformation. Along with the new indoor roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the plan is to build Journey Of Water, a Moana attraction, and the PLAY! Pavilion featuring Wreck-it Ralph and other Disney characters. We’re starting to see more elements around EPCOT as the transformation continues!
We were stopped in our tracks when we spotted the ticket booths on our way out of the Food and Wine Festival last night! The booths have been painted in a bright rainbow pattern! It was much more noticeable without the morning crowds and brought a cheery end to our day.
The pattern blends nicely from one color to the next. It starts with the dark blue and purple and fades all the way to yellow. The bright colors are balanced well with the white siding.
We think the rainbows go nicely with the nighttime color palette that lights up Spaceship Earth every night!
The ticket booths now match some of the other rainbow elements we’ve seen around EPCOT! Have you seen the Pin Trading Headquarters’ new look? You can see the rainbow pattern on the windows!
We’re continuing to stake out EPCOT now that it’s partially open. We’ll keep a lookout for new construction and additions as the transformation continues. Follow along with us as we explore what’s new!
