Remember that new food booth that arrived last year and was held INSIDE the Canada pavilion’s Circle-Vison theater?
Its name was Appleseed Orchard, and guess what? It has returned for 2020’s Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.
Since Canada’s new film, Canada Far and Wide has reclaimed its former digs, you’ll now find Appleseed Orchard and three additional Food and Wine food booths all under one roof (or should we say tent?). Either way, you’ll find Appleseed Orchard, Wine & Dine featuring Festival Favorites, Desserts & Champagne, and Mac and Cheese Hosted by Boursin Cheese at Festival World Showcase next to the UK pavilion.
And it appears since the venue is indoors, you may have to enter a virtual queue in order to enter the Festival World Showcase which you can learn more about here!
Menu
Let’s take a look all the apple-y offerings this year on Appleseed Orchard’s menu!
Looks like a bunch of the stuff they had last year has come back which is great news for this Appleseed Orchard-loving crew!
Food
First up, the Charcuterie and Cheese Plate featuring Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel Aged Maple Syrup for $6.50 is back on the menu — perfect for pairing with some of Appleseed Orchard’s Hard Ciders which we’ll get to in just a sec!
And it looks like the Caramel-Apple Popcorn for $7 has also returned! It still comes in a cute apple-shaped souvenir container, too!
But we all know the main reason for stopping by Appleseed Orchard — the BREWS! Let’s take a look at the drink offerings next!
Beverage
The non-alcoholic Frozen Apple Pie has returned. It’s a pretty sweet drink that sorta reminds us of a Frozen Apple Pie? Maybe not, but it’s still a tasty slushy drink topped with crumbs of streusel. Pick this pick up for $4.00!
And unfortunately, beer flights aren’t a thing at the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. We’ll be more than happy to see them return someday, but for now, you can still get all your favorite beers from last year by the glass. No matter your choice of beer, 6oz. glasses are $4.50 while 12oz. glasses cost $8.50! Here are your delicious options at Appleseed Orchard!
There’s the Short’s Brewing Co. Mule Beer, Elk Rapids, MI…
…Heavy Seas Brewery TropiCannon Citrus IPA, Halethorpe, MI…
…Parish Brewing Co. Ghost in the Machine Double IPA, Broussard, LA…
…Ciderboys Banana Bliss Hard Cider, Stevens Point, WI…
…as well as the 3 Daughters Raspberry Lemonade Dry Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL, and the Short’s Brewing Company Starcut Ciders Mosa Hard Cider, Bellaire, MI.
Of the ones we tried, we loved the Ghost in the Machine Double IPA! Of the beers we’ve sampled at this year’s festival so far, we really enjoyed this one! Simply put, it’s a phenomenal beer!
For all you non-beer drinkers out there, you can sip on the appealing Apple Blossom Sky — a drink made with Apple Fanta, Ginger Beer, Floodwall Apple Brandy, and Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel-Aged Syrup that’s topped with Mini Marshmallows!
As you can see, there are a LOT of apple flavors happening with this drink (as one would expect at a booth called Appleseed Orchard!). And the little cup it comes served in is too cute! This beverage costs $11.00.
You know what they say — the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and we’ll be spending a good chunk of our summer sampling Appleseed Orchard’s wares.
