Review! The Africa Booth is Serving Up Some INCREDIBLE Flavors at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!

We’re tasting our way around all of the booths at the 2020 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

Africa

From Mac & Cheese to Desserts and Champagne, we’re on a mission to taste all the eats the 2020 Food & Wine Festival has to offer! And now, we’re headed to the Africa booth to see whether the options are as delicious as last year!

Menu

The Africa booth has a small menu with just two food items and two drinks. But, hey, the saying is quality over quantity!

Africa Menu

Unfortunately, one of our absolute FAVORITE items from last year — the Kenyan Coffee Barbecue Beef Tenderloin — isn’t returning this year. But let’s see how this year’s eats hold up!

Check out the menus from all of the booths at this year’s Food & Wine Festival!

Food

First, we tried the Spicy Kenyan Vegan Corn and White Beans for $4.50. This dish is served with Pigeon Peas, Quinoa, Ancient Grains Medley, and Kachumbari Slaw. May we just say, HOLY MOLY. This dish had so much flavor, we wouldn’t even have known it was vegan if we hadn’t seen the menu first — and we LOVE our meat and dairy!

Next, we sampled the item that sounded REALLY good. The Piri Piri Skewered Shrimp is served with Citrus-scented Couscous and you can get it for $6.75. Look at that portion size for the price! Pretty solid.

Alright, we’re gonna say it. This dish just might make our BEST of the FEST. WOW! All of the different flavors married like a dream and the portion was the perfect size for a heavy snack or a light meal.

Plus, look at how PRETTY it is!

Drinks

Of course, there are some tasty drinks to wash down your DELISH dishes, too! You can snag the Tusker Lager in a 6 oz pour ($4.50) or a 12 oz pour ($8.50), or a glass of Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz from Western Cape for $5.

Overall

The Africa booth is a winner for us AGAIN this year! Honestly, this might be the most underrated booth at the whole festival. We were blown away by both of the menu items they’re serving up this year! Trust us, we’ll be back for more of that shrimp!
