Review! Will the Kalua Pork Sliders at the Hawai’i Booth Still be One of Our EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Favorites This Year? Let’s See!

“Aloha” from the 2020 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival!

A Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

From the Funnel Cake Stand to the Islands of the Caribbean booth, we’ve been tasting our way around the Food & Wine Festival booths in the now reopened EPCOT! And we’re not finished yet! We stopped by the Hawai’i Booth to see what they had to offer!

The Hawai’i booth is located near the entrance to the World Showcase, and we were excited to see what they’re serving up this year!

In addition to food and drinks, you can also snag the coveted Spike the Bee spork at the Hawai’i booth! This li’l cutie costs $2.50.

So, let’s start by taking a look at the menu!

Menu

There aren’t any new items at the Hawai’i booth this year, and like many of the returning booths, the menu is slightly smaller than last year’s.

But we breathed a huge sigh of RELIEF when we saw that our two FAVORITE food items from Hawai’i, the Kalua Pork Slider ($5.25) and Teriyaki-glazed SPAM Hash ($4.25) were on the menu. These were both included in our 2019 Best of the Fest, and we wondered if they would once again be top contenders at the festival!

Food

So, let’s start with the Kalua Pork Slider ($5.25), served with a sweet-and-sour DOLE pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise. Once again, this festival favorite did not disappoint! The pork was super moist and we love the sweet and spicy combo of the chutney and mayo!

And the Teriyaki-glazed SPAM Hash ($4.25) is another returning winner for us! In addition to SPAM, you’ll also find potatoes, peppers, onions, and spicy mayonnaise tossed together to create a great mix of flavors!

We love both of the food items at the Hawai’i booth, but the Kalua Pork Slider continues to reign as one of our all-time favorites!

Here’s everything that made our 2019 Best of the Fest list!

Drinks

For beverages, the Hawai’i booth is serving up several tropical selections, including the Maui Brewing Company Pineapple Mana Wheat ($4.50 for a 6-ounce pour or $8.50 for a 12-ounce pour) and Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Pineapple Wine ($10).

Or, if you’re in the mood for a cocktail, you can try the AULANI Sunrise, which is made with vodka, DOLE Pineapple Juice, and grenadine for $14. This drink was definitely sweet, but not too overpowering. It was a refreshing cocktail that we would order on a hot day!

Plus, it comes in a fun glass!

Overall

The Hawai’i booth is home to two of our favorite Food & Wine Festival eats, so it’s definitely worth a stop in our book! And the drinks are all fruity and refreshing options that can help us power through a long, hot day in EPCOT. So, with that in mind, we’d say the Hawai’i booth is a winner!
