We’re making our way around Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, checking out all the latest on this beautiful sunny day!
And, in fact, we spotted something new before we even set foot in the park itself. A vending machine filled with face masks has been placed right next to the soda machines, which are located before the security check area that all guests must go through before entering the park.
The new vending machine is stocked with the disposable variety of face masks. (We noticed vending machines at Universal Studios Hollywood that also sold masks, but those also had washable versions available.)
These come with elastic ear loops and an adjustable nose piece.
You’ll notice the small signage above that reads “Press Selection for Price,” which we did! The disposable masks are priced at $2.00. You’ll also see a few safety reminders popping up on the machine’s screens.
Of course, all guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a face mask “at all times” in Walt Disney World, except when dining or swimming, or eating and drinking while remaining stationary. (Disney’s policy has evolved since the Resort has reopened, and you can read the latest to be sure you’re in the know here.) So guests coming to the park are required to wear them while using Disney transportation to get to the park, by way of, say, a bus or the Disney Skyliner.
But, as we have learned, it is always good to have a spare handy. (In fact, we recommend bringing several along, and you can read more about that here.) So these machines can provide a good option for those in need.

And, remember, even inside the parks, you aren’t too far from additional options. We also found some disposable masks at Gateway Gifts in EPCOT. (Handy tip: they were $1.50 there, as opposed to the $2.00 at the vending machine.)
Additional places where you can pick up some disposable masks include the Disney Resort hotel gift shops. You can even get some before you arrive on Disney World property, at vending machines in the Orlando International Airport.
If you’re looking for some non-disposable options, you can find the popular Disney face masks all around Walt Disney World — from Disney Springs to the Resort hotels to the parks.
And have you seen that we have an assortment of our own, right here on DFB? You can check them out here!
Of course, we spotted some new things inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios, too . For instance, you can check out the super wacky and whimsical NEW Mickey Ears (or are they HANDS?) that we found in the park earlier today! We will, as always, be keeping you posted on all the latest, so stay with us right here!
