Some of our favorite iconic snacks went missing once Walt Disney World reopened to the public. We were reunited with a classic snack today!
We have a long and tumultuous history with the Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel from Disney World. It appeared years ago at The Lunching Pad in Magic Kingdom then took a hiatus sometime later. We thought it was potentially gone forever. There was a big pretzel-shaped hole in our hearts. Then, it came crawling back to us at Magic Kingdom, only to break our hearts once more. The Lunching Pad is temporarily unavailable so we haven’t had a chance to get our pretzel fix! WELL, it seems the delicious snack is back to toy with our hearts again!
We were just minding our business perusing Disney’s Hollywood Studios today. All of a sudden something caught our eye at the snack cart near Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Could it be? Was it back?
We got a little closer to assess the situation. It was true! The Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel is at Hollywood Studios! What a sneaky little snack! Never had a Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel? Let us give you low down.
It’s a doughy pretzel stuffed with sweet cream cheese icing. The outside is dusted with breadcrumbs instead of salt. It’s not overly sweet and really hits the spot!
The pretzel costs $7.25 and comes in this adorable Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway wrapper!
We haven’t heard a word about the equally delicious Jalapeño-Cheese Pretzel that’s disappeared everywhere. We’ll keep scouring the parks to see if anything else new pops up in the future!
