Disney World Annual Passholder Phone Lines are BUSY on the Last Day to Cancel — Here’s What to Do if You Can’t Get Through!

Annual Passholders have had to deal with a pretty interesting year. To help give Passholders more options during this difficult time, Disney presented the option of canceling Annual Passes in exchange for a partial refund.

TODAY is the final day for Passholders to decide to cancel their Passes. If they do, Passes will no longer be valid for entry beginning tomorrow. We’ve talked you through the decision to cancel, but today there’s a new issue. Annual Passholder V.I.PASSHOLDER Support phone lines are BUSY and it’s the LAST DAY. Don’t freak out! Here’s what to do if you can’t get through on the phone to cancel your pass.

One of the ways that you can cancel your Annual Pass is by calling V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277. Right now, though, the phone lines are slammed and we’ve heard a message letting us know that all circuits are busy. If you need to cancel your pass and you run into this issue, don’t panic. You have options.

For one, you can always keep redialing. In the past, we’ve redialed hundreds of times before we finally get through to the line, but we HAVE gotten through. Still, there’s a MUCH easier path you can take too. When we noticed the lines were busy, we reached out to a Cast Member via the Chat feature on the Disney World website. We waited just 15 minutes before being connected.

If you did receive an email link for canceling your Pass, you can use it. If not, let the Cast Member in chat know. We were directed to a secure Guest Information Form that popped up alongside the chat window. Once we filled it out with our basic contact info and email address used for My Disney Experience, the Cast Member could submit our request to cancel our Pass. It was that easy! No lengthy hold time on the phone and no panicking because the call won’t go through.

Keep in mind, the Cast Member informed us once we submitted that form, there are no take-backsies. It’s done and if guests chose to chancel this way, they should see the refund processed in mid to late September on the original form of payment used. If that form of payment is unavailable, it may take slightly longer to refund your money. We received an email confirming this as well following our chat. So, if you’re stuck unable to get through on the phone lines, head to the Disney World website. You’ll find the Chat feature linked on the Home Page and on the “Contact Us” Page. If you have any more questions about reaching out to Disney, ask them in the comments!
