When Disney World reopened, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on some of our favorite frozen snacks, especially the grand poobah of them all, Dole Whip!
Aloha Isle, which tends to serve a variety of Dole Whip options, is one of the dining locations that has reopened at Magic Kingdom. But prior to welcoming guests back, they cut several items from their menu! We saw Raspberry Dole Whip and the Kakamora Float (one of our favorite treats made from Coconut Dole Whip) get the boot!
Aloha Isle wasn’t the only Magic Kingdom restaurant to simplify their menu prior to reopening. Sunshine Tree Terrace also scaled back on their soft-serve offerings. They removed their Orange Dole Whip along with the I Lava You Float and FOMOsa!
We also saw Storybook Treats has also stopped serving their Peter Pan Float made with Lime Dole Whip, but over the weekend it had magically REAPPEARED! Could this be the omen we’ve been searching for that other flavored Dole Whips could be returning to our sweet embrace soon?
Well, we’re not going to get our hopes up just yet, but we did notice today Aloha Isle’s mobile order menu is now showing Raspberry Dole Whip as an option! We have Disney Park Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom tomorrow, so we’ll be sure to confirm this for you!
Whether our beloved Kamamora Float will return or not remains to be seen, but having the Peter Pan Float and Raspberry Swirl back at Magic Kingdom certainly brings us joy!
