Since EPCOT re-opened, you KNOW that means we’ve been visiting La Cava del Tequila at the Mexico Pavilion!
While we’ve noticed multiple health and safety regulations in place around the pavilions already, Disney has continued to update what measures they’re taking to protect guests and Cast Members. Although EPCOT has instilled a new face mask policy and temperature checks, distancing markers and directional signs on the ground have been put in place to make sure that everyone is safely kept apart from one another.
When we’ve returned back to the Mexico Pavilion, we’ve noticed markers on the ramps inside the pavilion to show guests which way they should be entering and exiting the area. However, thanks to our reader @walruscarpclothing, we were able to see that there are even more distancing measures in place outside the pyramid for times that it reaches capacity.
On top of the distancing markers put in place, Cast Members have started to limit the capacity of how many people are able to go inside the Mexico Pavilion at once.
Those waiting in line reported a 10 to 15 minute wait to get inside the pyramid, with Cast Members allowing small groups in at a time as another distancing effort.
Although Disney has continued to change how the parks are operating, the updates in their health and safety measures is meant to keep everyone safe as they return back to Disney World. While the parks may look completely different than we’ve seen it before, we’ll continue to make sure you have all the information you need to know before your next Disney vacation!
Take a look inside a newly re-opened La Cava del Tequila (and how it doesn’t look the way we remember it)!
