What strange and unusual summer it has been!
First off, Disney World shut its gates mere WEEKS after the 2020 Flower and Garden Festival began, making it the shortest EPCOT festival of all time. Then when the parks reopened, EPCOT’s longest festival in history began — the 2020 Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!
Despite many modifications from previous years’ Food and Wine Festivals (no Eat to the Beat concerts or special events like cooking demos or chef meet and greets) one of the strangest things has been the lack of Food and Wine merchandise! That is — until NOW!
Although the Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival has been selling Flower and Garden’s leftover merchandise from this spring, we finally got a sneak peek at the official Food and Wine merchandise! Most of this merchandise is expected to be released in EPCOT on September 1st. Now, let’s DIG IN!
For the Figment Fanatics
EPCOT’s festivals are a great opportunity for Figment fans from far and wide to stock up on fun merchandise featuring the little purple dragon himself! Over the years Figment has become the mascot of sorts for the Food and Wine Festival, and it looks like he is dressed to impress this season!
Starting off with apparel, there are two Figment-themed tops to keep an eye out for. This cute t-shirt features Figment popping out of the shirt pocket, serving up a dish of Spaceship Earth!
For those chillier evenings, this long-sleeve shirt has rainbow stripes down the sleeves and says “Food and Wine Festival” on the front.
With a CUTE collage on the back!
And those tops MUST go with some leggings! Lucky for you, the Food and Wine Festival has their very own pair of leggings that will be available for purchase!
There’s also an assortment of mugs, shakers, and even a trivet!
Here’s a close up of that Figment Shaker because we KNOW you want to see it.
We’re big fans of this tall Figment mug and this adorable little ornament.
Need measurements? Look no further than this cute Figment Magnet!
Or you could just use this adorable Figment Measuring Cup set, complete with a chef hat!
Whenever you’re done cooking up a storm, we’ll be serving stuff up on the new Figment Plate too!
Brews Around the World
Another featured collection this year is the Brews Around the World collection featuring collectible pins, a growler, and a hat.
Oh, and uh…the hat has a bottle opener built-in. WE NEED IT.
Other Apparel
Does your wardrobe need a refresh? There are tops a-plenty at the Food and Wine Festival! If you’re looking for that “classic” Food and Wine Festival shirt, look no further than this cute maroon hoodie!
Annual Passholders once again have their own exclusive merchandise to shop this year, including this olive green tee that says “Olive to Cook” (get it?).
Mickey and Minnie make a special appearance on this cute women’s tank top!
Two other tops with a more “classic” Food and Wine vibe will be available for purchase, too!
The women’s tee has a tied knot detailing in the front.
Accessories
Looks like we have a whole new collection of Dooney’s to obsess over this Food and Wine season!
Three Dooney and Bourke bags will be available in special Food and Wine festival prints, which include Chef Mickey and Chef Minnie surrounded by all sorts of yummy treats! The Dooney and Bourke collection won’t be dropping on September 1st with the rest of the Food & Wine merch and we’re not sure when it will. On the bright side, there will be an Annual Passholder bag and a Dooney & Bourke MagicBand in addition to what we saw today!
AND let’s get COLLECTIBLE with the new pins that are coming out! Look at those awesomely detailed 25th Anniversary pins. The ten pins on top of the display are mystery pins. Darn, that means we have to try to collect them all!
Of course, there are some Passholder-exclusive pins. Boy, do they look snazzy this year, or what?
And there are even MORE pins (and an awesome keychain)!
Around the Kitchen
It wouldn’t be a Food and Wine Festival without some souvenirs that you can bring back to your own kitchen at home! This year’s festival is no exception, as we spotted plenty of glassware, bottles, and kitchenware!
Looking to serve up something a l’il fancy at home? There are two Passholder-exclusive serving trays to choose from. The first is a wooden cutting board-like tray that comes with a cut-out for a wine glass.
The other is a tray for appetizers!
Not a Passholder? Want to hold your wine AND snack? No worries!
Plus there’s a larger board (for everyone!) too!
You may recall that Remy’s Hide and Squeak Challenge has kicked off with simply ADORABLE prizes for those participating!
Those same four designs with Chef Mickey, Chef Minnie, Chef Figment, and Chef Remy will also be available as a set of Passholder-exclusive glassware! As a note, these glasses will also be arriving a little bit later than September 1st.
Plus, ANOTHER shaker? Look to Remy for this sweet shaker and water bottle.
Three versions of wine glassware premiere this year: a traditional stemmed wine glass, a stemless wine glass…
…and a travel tumbler!
Prefer your wine straight out of the barrel? Check out this mug!
You can bet we WILL be protecting our countertops with these coasters.
Chef Minnie has her own line of kitchenware, too! Be on the lookout for the “Queen of Cuisine” to make an appearance on some bowls, mugs, coasters, potholders, and an adorable apron!
After donning your new frock you can start whipping up something good with this baking spatula.
Here’s a look at the Chef Minnie Bottle and Tumbler!
Remember we mentioned a potholder? Look how cute!
Plus we can’t wait to brighten up our kitchen with the Minnie Kitchen Towel.
Complete your collection with this set of Chef Minnie Dishware.
Look for the new Food and Wine Festival merchandise starting September 1st at Mouse Gear as well as at the various festival marketplace booths scattered throughout the food booths at EPCOT’s World Showcase!
