Disney World has started to make some changes in the parks when it comes to hours, capacity, and more during the initial reopening.
While the park hours will be reduced starting September 8th, Disney has stated that some restaurants will remain open for guests to enjoy. However, Labor Day Weekend is happening soon…
Throughout Labor Day Weekend, Disney will be extending the hours of select restaurants in the resorts by an hour! Although the restaurant hours will return back to their previous times after the weekend, guests will be able to stay extra time in the evening to enjoy drinks and meals with their families and friends.
Although Chef Mickey’s originally closed at 11:30AM after breakfast, everyone can enjoy their meals longer at Disney’s Contemporary Resort from 7AM until 1PM on September 4th through September 7th.
Over at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sanaa will be open from 11:30AM to 3PM and then again at 5PM to 10PM on September 4th through September 7th (instead of its previous 9 PM closure).
While Whispering Canyon would normally host guests until 9PM, the Wilderness Lodge’s restaurant is open from 7:30AM to 11AM, 11:30AM to 2PM, and 5PM until 10PM on September 4th through September 6th.
We’ve loved seeing Mickey and all of our friends at Topolino’s Terrace, and the rooftop spot at Disney’s Riviera Resort will also be open longe. They will be open from 7:30AM to 11:15AM and 5PM to 10PM on September 4th through September 6th. The restaurant previously closed at 9PM.
Craving late-night goodies? Well, you can head to Everything Pop Shopping and Dining for a food court feast from 7AM to 11PM (instead of 10PM) from September 4th through September 6th.
