Since the NBA season’s return at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, we’ve seen lots of new merchandise, gotten a peek at some of the special set-up the players have, and even seen a blimp soaring over Disney World.
Now we’ve got a new update on some upcoming NBA games.
Game 5 was scheduled to take place today between the Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic at 4:00PM (ET). According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Milwaukee Bucks players boycotted the game in light of recent events, and the game has been postponed.
A few other games were also scheduled for today, Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets, and Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers. The Orlando Sentinel reports that players from the Thunder, Rockets, Lakers, and Trail Blazers also decided to boycott their games. All of the Game 5 match-ups that were scheduled for today have now been postponed.
According to the NBA’s twitter, Game 5 of each series will be rescheduled. We’ll keep you posted on any further updates.
