The NBA Playoffs have run into a bit of a pause today.
Since yesterday, the NBA has been working with players to come to an agreement about the completion of the season. Three games were postponed yesterday as the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted a game in protest of the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Afterward, the Lakers and the Clippers voted to boycott the season. Now, players have voted once more and the season WILL continue.
According to ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, the NBA players decided to resume the playoffs this morning. In the meantime, today’s games have been postponed. Games could resume as early as tomorrow, but the season is expected to resume by the weekend.
The resumption of playoff games could come as soon as Friday, but there is expected to be a return to this season by the weekend, sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/A2PazNKDhy
