We love catching a glimpse of the construction going on at EPCOT’s France pavilion from our eyes in the sky — Disney Skyliner!
But today we couldn’t believe how much progress they’ve made! Before you proceed, click here to see what the France pavilion looked like back in February of this year so you can compare!
As we made our way along the waterway, we could see the additions to there France pavilion are looking very LOVELY! The trees were lush and green while new benches and lamp posts have been installed!
EPCOT’s construction really appears to be zipping along! Earlier today we saw work being done on the new PLAY! Pavilion and also scoped out the new fountain near EPCOT’s entryway in Future World. Although the France pavilion is an entire World Showcase away, it was bustling with workers and heavy machinery as well!
We can’t wait to walk the “streets of Paris” when the construction is finished, especially at nighttime when they’ll most certainly look très romantique! Remember — it’s not just Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure that’s going in back here but a new restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, as well!
As we began to wrap around the back of the pavilion, we spotted workers on the rooftops…
…and a large Cast Members-only section that won’t be visible to guests who are standing inside EPCOT once the project is done.
Cast Members are still actively working on the exterior of the buildings and sadly, we don’t know what things are looking like inside!
That being said, it’s tough to say whether or not Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Le Crêperie de Paris will open this summer as originally scheduled or not, but we’ll keep you updated with any info we find out!
Check out the new Macaron Minnie ears we spotted at the France pavilion here!
