We don’t know about you, but we’re getting excited about the upcoming release of Disney’s live-action Mulan. The movie releases TOMORROW, September 4th on Disney+ as part of a premium access program that will cost $29.99 (although it will be available to all Disney+ subscribers for FREE in December).
In honor of the release, we’re seeing a lot of really cool merchandise dropping, including a new popcorn bucket and sipper, along with new Mulan t-shirts, a Mulan Disney Castle collection, and more! But now we’ve just spotted a brand new Mulan item inspired by the live-action movie online!
This new item is a brand new children’s book called A Place for Mulan Book – Live Action Film and it’s on the shopDisney website.
The book, which was written by Marie Chow with illustrations by Jasper Shaw, has a stylized art style that taps into the Chinese culture and history seen in the Mulan live-action film. The story takes inspiration from the new movie, and it even looks like we might get a peek into what Mulan’s childhood was like!
