One of our favorite dining locations at Disney World is at BOMA at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It’s also the restaurant where we discovered one of our absolute favorite snacks: Zebra Domes! Unfortunately, BOMA is still closed even months after the parks’ reopening.
Zebra Domes were also previously available at The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but guess what? That’s closed, too! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?
It’s okay. Take a deep breath and relax. Because Zebra Domes are still available at Animal Kingdom Lodge at Kidani Village’s Johari Treasures.
So what exactly is a Zebra Dome? It’s an Amarula Cream Liquor mousse surrounded by a layer of white chocolate, which is drizzled with chocolate and chocolate shavings. And underneath it all is a thin base of cake. If you’re a fan of tiramisu, you’ll love Zebra Domes (you can read our review here).
We’ve seen them at Kidani before, but we thought it was important to let you know you can still get them there. Because if you’re like us, you get cravings for these perfect little domes of wonderfulness.
A pack of four costs $4.29. And there are even gluten-free Zebra Domes!
Everyone can enjoy zebra domes! That makes us so happy! Yes, we know that not EVERYONE likes them, but for those of us who do, we’re glad we can still enjoy them from time to time.
We’re so glad that Animal Kingdom Lodge still carries these snacks, especially since the other two locations that had them are currently unavailable. We know exactly where to go when the Zebra Dome urge strikes us!
Here’s what we thought of the new pumpkin snacks at Starbucks!
Are you happy that zebra domes are still available? Let us know in the comments!
