I Don’t Know Who Needs to Hear This, But Cheeseburger Pods Are Still Awesome in Disney World

Pandora in Animal Kingdom is a surprising wealth of yummy meals and snacks. And Satu’li Canteen, the land’s quick-service dining location, is a total must-try dining spot!

Satu’li Canteen

From innovative combination bowls to our beloved Cheeseburger Steamed Pods, there’s something for almost everyone. Ahh, Cheeseburger Pods. We love this snack so much that we learned to make a copycat recipe at home! And now, we’re back in Animal Kingdom to snag a refreshed review!

You’ll find Cheeseburger Steamed Pods on the kids’ menu for $7.99 AND (as of recently) back on the regular menu for $11.49. Kids get one pod, chips, an orange, and a drink, and grown-ups get two pods with vegetable slaw and chips.

On this particular trip, we opted for the kids’ portion since we weren’t too hungry. Pro tip! Ordering from the kids’ menu at any quick-service spot in Disney World can make for the perfect snack or light meal option.

Cheeseburger Pods

As usual, the Cheeseburger Pods themselves were absolutely delicious. They’re stuffed with ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and cheddar cheese — everything you need to get those yummy cheeseburger flavors! The dough is soft and the bite stays together surprisingly well while you’re chowing down. We wish we could eat these every day; thank goodness we came up with that at-home recipe!

And of course, whether you’re opting for the kids’ size or the adult size, you’ll need something to wash your delicious meal down with. Satu’li Canteen has some awesome options, but this time we opted for the Hawkes’ Grog Ale. You can snag this sip for $9.25 for 16oz or $10.50 for 22oz.

No, your eyes don’t deceive you. That really is GREEN beer! It’s like it’s St. Patrick’s Day EVERY day in Pandora. The Hawkes’ Grog Ale is exclusive to Pandora and we are big fans of this brew. It’s on the hoppy side with notes of apricot and peach — perfect to wash down your Cheeseburger Pods!

Overall, we tend to be happy on our trips to Satu’li Canteen and this latest one was no different. As a bonus, this dining spot has plenty of outdoor seating — a major plus from a health and safety standpoint in a reopened Disney World.
