Gaston’s Tavern
When we’re in Disney World, we tend to keep our eye on the prize — and by prize, we mean delicious cupcakes covered in a mound of icing! Today, we learned that Gaston’s Tavern will be reopening this Friday, and that instantly had us dreaming about Cinnamon Rolls…but it looks like that’s not the ONLY exciting treat in our future. Is that a new cupcake on the menu?!
We were checking out the Gaston’s Tavern menu to see what yummy snacks we’re gonna order later this week when we noticed something NEW. Listed in the snacks section, it seems there’s a new treat. The Master’s Cupcake?! Hmm…that sounds somewhat familiar…

We’ve spotted a cupcake with that name before, but it wasn’t at Gaston’s Tavern — it was at Be Our Guest Restaurant! This fan-favorite dining location featured a dessert called “The Master’s Cupcake”, made with Chocolate Sponge Cake and Grey Stuff, on the lunch menu prior to the closure. This treat was SERIOUSLY so good! A mound of Grey Stuff instead of icing? Yes PLEASE.

We won’t know if this is the same Master’s Cupcake from Be Our Guest until Gaston’s Tavern opens on Friday, but we won’t complain either way. Maybe we’re seeing the return of an old favorite, or maybe we’re discovering a new one! Stay tuned!
