NEWS! PeopleMover Will Now Remain Closed Through Late November in Disney World!

Although we’ve loved running around to our favorite rides and restaurants in the parks, we totally miss relaxing on the PeopleMover (which happens to be one of the best ways to beat the heat, in our opinion!).

Peoplemover Closed

As one of Magic Kingdom’s oldest and most popular attractions, PeopleMover takes guests on a ride around Tomorrowland to look inside the attractions and other parts of the park. However, since Disney World closed back in March, we haven’t seen the attraction open again in Tomorrowland (even during the re-opening back in July).

Previously, the attraction refurbishment calendar only listed the attraction as being closed through October 31st of this year. While we were holding out hope for its return just in time for the end of spooky season, now Disney World has the PeopleMover listed as unavailable through November 21st.

We’re not sure exactly when the refurbishment will be finished, considering PeopleMover was seeing some break-downs and even a possible fire. However, we can say that we miss it dearly and hope to see it making its return to Tomorrowland soon (Magic Kingdom just isn’t the same without it!). We’ll continue to keep you updated on any further developments!
