Guests with upcoming reservations at San Angel Inn Restaurante in EPCOT might end up with a change of plans!

Several EPCOT restaurants have recently announced that they will be reopening shortly, including Chefs de France and Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. But one location that has already reopened is now preparing to undergo a brief closure.
Located inside the pyramid of the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT, San Angel Inn Restaurante gives guests the opportunity to dine in a unique atmosphere while watching the Gran Fiesta Tour boats glide by! And, while the restaurant is currently opened, we learned that they will be briefly closing soon for minor repairs and maintenance.

According to a Cast Member, San Angel Inn will be closed from Monday, September 28th through Wednesday, September 30th so the necessary maintenance can occur. Guests with reservations at San Angel Inn on these dates were called and provided the option to switch their reservation over to La Hacienda de San Angel instead.

The Cast Member mentioned that a similar approach was taken when La Hacienda de San Angel briefly closed for maintenance, and guests were redirected to San Angel Inn. They noted that the two locations have very similar menus offerings at the moment.

We were also informed that guests with reservations at San Angel Inn on the following Monday through Wednesday (October 5th-7th) may also be impacted if the maintenance isn’t completed early next week. But, San Angel Inn WILL be open from Thursday through Sunday (October 1st-4th) regardless!
