One Little Change Has Made a BIG Improvement for This Spooky Float in Disney World!

Prepare yourselves, poor unfortunate souls.

Poor Unfortunate Souls

Another epic Halloween treat has returned to Disney World and we’re here to tell ya if it’s worth the adorable Insta pics.

The Poor Unfortunate Souls Float is BACK at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom for $6.99. This float is a strange mix of colors and could make for some really cool foodie photos. But the flavors are a weird combination! We’ll be honest, we weren’t the biggest fans last time we had this one. But now, everything has changed!

Poor Unfortunate Souls

The float is made with cream cheese soft-serve, black raspberry syrup, and Coke. Interestingly enough, this float is actually made differently from when we had it earlier this year at the Disney Villains After Hours event. Then, instead of the cream cheese soft-serve and black raspberry syrup, it had black raspberry soft serve that tasted…like medicine. Blech.

So, does this change in recipe improve this villainous treat? YES! That cream cheese flavor was way more pronounced than we were expecting. If you’re on the fence about cream cheese this ain’t for you, but if you’re a cream cheese buff (like we are) this might be a favorite!

This is a fun treat to pair with the Hades Nachos (that you can read more about here). We will continue to keep you posted as we review all the new fall treats, so stay tuned!
