PICTURES: The Sky Above Disneyland Fills With Smoke From the Unprecedented Western Wildfires

Disneyland is looking a little different today.

Smoke Above Disneyland

As you may know, California is one of 13 states currently battling wildfires that amount to more than 5,300 square miles — about the size of Connecticut. The smoke from these fires has reached Disneyland as the sunny California skies are obscured.

We were reporting from Downtown Disney today and noticed that the sky was obstructed by a yellow-hued smoke for much of the day. Per USA Today, more than 90 major fires have been raging in the Western half of the United States.

It certainly is a dramatic picture to see the smoke starting to obscure the sun over the resort.
